**Job Description:**
Career Teachers is seeking a dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join our team in Sheffield for a maternity cover position starting in September 2024. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive lessons to students, fostering a positive learning environment, and ensuring the academic and personal development of pupils.
**Responsibilities:**
- Plan and deliver dynamic lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of students in Year 3.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and respected.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents as needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support the holistic development of students.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic performance.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events as required.
**Skills and Qualifications:**
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Key Stage 2 curriculum, preferably in Year 3.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to collaborate with others.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
