Workshop Supervisor

Our client is seeking a Workshop Supervisor to lead the shop floor operations within their manufacturing department. This role is pivotal for someone looking to demonstrate their leadership and technical skills in managing a highly skilled team.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the team, ensuring projects adhere to company standards.
• Apply a hands-on management approach, with a preference for candidates experienced in Lathe, Mill, and Brake Press machinery.
• Manage daily team operations, including scheduling, absences, discipline, and annual reviews.
• Ensure comprehensive coverage across all disciplines within the team.

Qualifications:

• Proven leadership experience in a similar supervisory role is preferred.
• Experience with Lathe, Mill, and Brake Press machinery.
• Capability to oversee projects from design to completion.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
