Located near Cranleigh, this inspiring school is dedicated to supporting pupils with Autism. As part of an expert team, you will contribute to providing the best educational, care, and transition pathways for children and young people aged 4 to 19. As part of your role, you will:


  • Provide teaching and support to pupils with Autism, following individualised curriculums
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons and activities, focusing on life skills
  • Support pupils' participation in trips, applying theory-based learning to practical situations
  • Provide behaviour based support to reduce behaviours that impact quality of life
  • Assist with personal care, encouraging pupils to maintain acceptable levels of hygiene (toileting, feeding)
  • Monitor pupil progress and ensure teaching is appropriate and effective for their needs
  • Assist with break time duties, including playground support and snack time

Desired skills and capabilities:


  • Minimum Grade C/4 or equivalent in English Language & Maths
  • Professional, personal, or voluntary experience working with children with disabilities
  • Comfortable working with children who exhibit challenging behaviour
  • Ability to provide support with personal/intimate care when required
  • Capacity to remain calm in high-pressure situations
  • Own means of transport, due to location
