Senior Group Risk Specialist



Location: Nationwide

Salary: �32,000-�36,000 + Benefits





Hours : Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm





My client who are within the Financial Services industry are seeking a Senior Group Risk Specialist is to provide office-based support for Group Risk policies focusing on the day to day running of this corporate clients schemes, including all client and provider interactions. This role can be based in the office, hybrid or fully remote





Duties and responsibilities:





Ensure the smooth running of Group Risk policies (GIP, GLA, CIC, SPLA) on a day to day basis.



Develop, maintain and cultivate a constructive and professional relationship with the Sales Consultant, the Reward Team within the holding provider at all levels.



Be the first point of contact for day to day administration from the Reward Team, Sales Consultant and the holding provider.



Independently respond to queries from the Reward Team and hold provider in a pro-active manner, meeting agreed SLAs and keeping all parties updated.



Co-ordinate administration of schemes, including invoicing, accounts, client queries, claims, underwriting, rehabilitation support services & communication material. (appropriate to department)



Proactively initiate and manage the gathering of all relevant data for the scheme renewals and ensure accuracy at all times and assist with the analysis of data as required.



Proactively work with Reward Team in relation to their benefit windows including input into webtext, benefit confirmations & providing rates.



Support on all M&A activity within the group� supporting the transition of groups into the main policies.



Ensure that any correspondence received and issued is checked for discrepancies and challenge as appropriate.



Ensure that client records and in-house system is always kept up to date including new business, retention and financial information.



Provide a proactive professional telephone handling service for both internal & external calls



including insurers, clients and colleagues.



Support Sales Consultant with new business opportunities including M&A activities, ensuring a first class, first impression to the client.





Requirements





3+ years of experience in Corporate Group Risk



Excellent communication skills



Strong attention to detail



Team player



Professional telephone manner
