Learn more at www.crossboundary.com.Job DescriptionCrossBoundary is recruiting a full-time Senior Associate or Associate Principal to join The Fund for Nature team. You will support all aspects of fundraising, investor relations, deal-sourcing, due diligence, deal structuring, and portfolio management. You will also support in establishing new strategic partnerships and developing thought leadership.Primary Responsibilities Fundraising: Support preparation of capital raising materials and processes, including presentations, investment memoranda, fund and project finance models, and due diligence Q&ADeal-sourcing and pipeline building: Identify and screen new investment opportunitiesStrategic due diligence and investment: Rigorously assess corporate and project investment opportunities and ensure alignment with portfolio objectives, return requirements, and risk appetitePortfolio management: Support management of TFFN’s portfolio, including investment performance monitoring, and post-investment support Investor relations: Support investor engagement and reportingPartnerships: Support in securing strategic partners including carbon credit buyers, co-investors, and technical partners to improve TFFN’s investment offeringWho We AreCrossBoundary’s people are genuinely excited by the opportunity to make a difference in some of the most challenging yet exciting markets in the world. The chosen candidate will play an important role in a unique team with the opportunity to create impact on the nature-based solutions landscape in emerging markets.Who You AreYou are a self-starter who is passionate about creating lasting change within the natural capital sector in emerging marketsBackground and interest in natural capital and / or investment in emerging marketsYou possess excellent attention to detail, but are solution-oriented and able to operate in situations where information is scarce, and the environment is constantly changingYou are comfortable managing multiple work streams simultaneously, and can prioritize and effectively deliver on tasksRequired qualificationsIdeal candidate will have the following skills and qualificationsBachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred (or another relevant advanced degree/professional qualification)At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in venture capital, private equity, infrastructure investing, investment banking, or similarExperience working in underserved marketsTrack record of sourcing, structuring, closing, and exiting investmentsKnowledge of carbon markets and/or experience developing nature-based carbon projects preferredAbility to build strong relationships with senior management of potential investors, investees, and donorsStrong financial modelling skills; experience in fund and project finance modelling preferredExcellent presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiencesFluency in spoken and written English is requiredThink you have what it takes but not sure you check every box?
