Science Teacher

We are currently working with a lovely secondary school on the outskirts of York that is looking for a teacher of Science to join them from the 3rd of July 2023 to cover maternity leave.
The position will be working 4 days each week Tuesday to Friday and will involve teaching KS3 and KS4 students. The school is currently rated as 'RI' in it's latest Ofsted inspection report so we need an experienced teacher to assist in raising standards across the board.
You will need to be:
An experienced teacher of science across all disciplines
Experienced in raising standards and creating an exceptional learning environment
Adept in nurturing good relationships with students and other members of staff
Be willing to plan and mark student work and take part in staff meeting and parents evenings
QTS or equivalent
Have a current DBS registered on the update service or be willing to have one processed for you
Strong behaviour management skills
