Principal Civil/Structural Engineer

Job title: Principal Engineer

Salary/ Pay rate/ Benefits: £50,000-£60,000
Location: Whitehaven
Hours of work: Up to 40 hours per week
Applicants must have experience of the following:
- Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering
- Minimum 10 years experience in engineering design
- Highly regulated industry experience
- Experience working in complex projects
Ideally applicants should also have:
- Chartership status
Role information:
- Act as technical lead for teams carrying out detailed construction designs for multi-disciplined projects
- Check and approve technical documentation including calculations, CDM activities and reports
- Guide and mentor junior engineers
- Carry out structural assessments of existing structures including concrete and steel
