Payroll Advisor

Payroll Advisor – 1 year contract – £22 per hour – London – Hybrid
Oakleaf Partnership is delighted to be partnered with a leading not for profit provider, who are looking to expand their Payroll function, by adding an additional Payroll Advisor. This role is to administer and process all payroll payments and deductions for UK and overseas employees, on a monthly basis, via Oracle. This position is for 1 year, on a full time basis and has the flexibility of a hybrid working pattern, in their London office.
The Payroll Advisor will be assisting/overseeing duties such as;
Responsible for the maintaining and updating of overpayment records, to ensure all data relating to overpayments is accurate and in line policy and process
Input overpayments data onto database on a daily basis
Act as a first line support, providing support and guidance to all affected employees and management of complex pay queries
Monitor using all appropriate reports and expertise, all overpayments in accordance with project requirements
Support the HR Services teams and Finance on any compliance and governance requirements.
Key Skills:
A comprehensive knowledge of PAYE and Payroll Procedures including processing statutory payments and manual calculations
Experience of using a HR and payroll database, Oracle is desirable
High level of numeracy skills with the ability to undertake manual and often complex calculations* Good Excel skills
