Machine/Soldering/Test Operator

Vibe Recruit are looking for an enthusiastic Production Technician to join our client's team and help ensure that they continue to deliver a high-quality service to their customers. This role is based in Cwmbran.

Details:

Salary: £13.78

Shifts : Monday-Thursday

Hours: 4pm-3am

Pay weekly!

Responsibilities:

• Receive orders and accurately interpret customer requirements.
• Cut products in accordance with company processes ensuring that the correct machinery is used according to product type and also ensuring the correct shape and sizing standards are achieved.
• Ensure machinery and equipment are regularly cleaned and the necessary maintenance carried out.
• Ensure the product is correct and ready for transfer to the relevant department.
• Keeps departmental wastage and customer returns to a minimum aiming to ensure all completed work is produced right first time.

Experience and skills:

• Must have Soldering experience
• Experience of working in a fast paced, quality focused environment
• Flexible approach to work patterns
• Willingness to work in other business areas as the needs of the business dictate
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise own workload
• Good communication skills - written and verbal
• Dexterous and ability to handle small products
• Good problem solving skills
• Demonstrates a team orientated approach
