LEAD STRUCTURAL ENGINEER75,000 - 80,000 (Permanent)Nottingham, East MidlandsLead Structural EngineerNottingham75,000 - 80,000 plus benefits & carOur client is seeking a Structural Engineer in their Nottingham office to lead the design of the OHL team.As the lead design engineer you will lead, co-ordinate, and produce design engineering solutions to support MESTN OHL and substation construction projects, with a primary focus on structural engineering.Duties:Ensure projects delivered on time and within budget;Extensive experience in steel lattice structure design and capable in other areas of OHL;Manage day to day design activities;Be project lead and senior design resource in support of projects, delivering high quality design outputs;Have up to date knowledge of National Grid, SPEN, ENA and other relevant industry standards;Liaise with other members of the team, including engineers and technicians, to maximise productivity;Carry out all associated resourcing, reporting solutions to Design Manager;Represent our client at internal and external meetings.About you:Extensive experience using PLS TOWER and PLS CADD;Degree in civil, structural or mechanical engineering (BEng Honours);At least 4 years’ experience in the OHL industry;Chartered or near Chartered.Our client offers a generous annual holiday allowance, annual bonus, and pension scheme as well as private health care and hybrid working.If you have the experience our client needs and want to join this industry leader, send your CV to Graham Ventham to be considered for the role.
