Come join our team at Imerys/Berg; as a Laboratory Technician you will have the potential to develop towards scientist level within the paper and board S&T team at Par Moor Centre.
Initially the role will be a hands-on lab-based role, but over time could develop to include reporting responsibilities and ultimately project leadership.
The role: is broad in scope and diverse in terms of the day to day work element, these can include:
Preparation and characterisation of raw materials such as pigment slurries, coating compositions, or pulps.
Application studies replicating industrial processes such as pulp bleaching, paper filling, coating and printing.
Testing and analysis such as rheological measurements, barrier testing, characterisation of paper and board surface properties.
Compilation of test data in a user-friendly format (Google sheets or excel).
