Job Description:
Reed are working with a wonderful charity with around 250 employees doing great things in the south-west.
Annual Salary: £38,800 (non-negotiable)
Location: Bath
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
They are looking for a HR Manager who is passionate about making a difference and fostering a supportive and fun work environment. This role is ideal for someone who values individuality, creativity, and collaboration, and is committed to co-creating inclusive practices within the organization. The role will report to the People Director and have responsibility for a team of 4.
Day to Day of the Role:
Act as escalation point of contact for all People-related queries and manage day-to-day HR tasks.
Oversee a team of four employees, providing support and guidance to both the Recruitment and HR teams.
Ensure HR functions are compliant and all basics are in place.
Work closely with managers at all levels to support them in achieving their objectives through their teams.
Coach managers on people matters and assist in writing inclusive policies and procedures.
Drive People Strategy initiatives through Inclusion & Diversity Champions, Wellbeing, and internal communications groups.
Commit to improving well-being initiatives and fostering a positive work environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role.
Ability to trust and empower teams while providing necessary support.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience in coaching and guiding managers on HR matters.
Knowledge of creating and implementing inclusive policies and procedures.
Commitment to improving well-being initiatives within the workplace.
Willingness to travel to projects as required and work from the Bath office at least 3 days a week.
