As we continue to expand and innovate, we are seeking a highly skilled Head of Fleet and Transport to join our team and lead our transportation and logistics department.

Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Transport and Fleet Manager to oversee all aspects of our transportation and fleet operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse fleet of vehicles, ensuring compliance with regulations, overseeing insurance, and implementing cost-effective strategies to improve efficiency and performance.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans to optimise transportation and fleet operations.
• Oversee the Management of fleet vehicles, including maintenance schedules, repairs, and replacements.
• Analise transport data to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
• Negotiate appropriate contracts with suppliers, vendors, and service providers.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key personnel both internally and externally.Oversee driver behaviours and transportation staff, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.Prepare and present reports on the transport and fleet performance to senior management and the Board.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in transportation and fleet management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of transportation regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
• Proficiency in transportation management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• TM National and international CPC.
