Amazon seeks a Senior Finance Manager to lead FP&A for the European Advertising business, based in London.Amazon Advertising operates at the intersection of advertising and ecommerce and offers advertisers a rich array of innovative advertising solutions across Amazon's mobile and desktop websites, proprietary devices and DSP solutions. We are breaking fresh ground and pioneering a crucial platform for future Amazon growth. We are entrepreneurial and have a bias for action with a broad mandate to experiment and innovate. This role is an exciting opportunity to join one of the fastest growing divisions within Amazon.We are looking for a Senior Finance Manager to lead the Amazon Advertising FP&A team in Europe. The candidate will be a highly experienced and motivated individual who will oversee planning, reporting, business intelligence, consumer and global accounts. This will include partnering with senior leaders on deep dives and cross-functional projects as well as working with business and finance leadership to track goals for the business. This role requires an individual with exceptional analytical abilities, outstanding business acumen, strong partnership skills, a strategic thinker and excellent people manager. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, and an ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.Primary responsibilities include:- Lead the financial planning process and partner with sales and product finance to manage the forecasting process.- Lead the EU weekly business reviews, provide actionable insights and recommendations to business leaders to ensure we hit our targets.- Lead the EU Monthly Finance Reviews to review the full P&L and track progress against key goals.- Improve regular reporting and processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.- Work cross-functionally with diverse teams to support regulatory, accounting, tax and legal requests.- Partner with the Consumer team to drive actionable insights and growth.- Drive revenue growth and profitability improvements through deep financial analysis.- Manage a team.We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:London, GBRBASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field- Experience in tax, finance or a related analytical field- Experience in performing financial and ad hoc analysis using data reporting tools- Experience in positions that require analysis and reporting financial results- Experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses- Experience in building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making- Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysisPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- MBA, or CPA- Experience recruiting, hiring and developing talent- Experience participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results- Experience in identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan- Experience in mentoring junior finance or business team members- Experience working with senior staff (e.g., c-suite)Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
