Job Description:
Necto Search and Selection are working with a growing multi-disciplinary construction company that due to growth into new sectors require a new group commercial director. A strong benefits and bonus is also on offer. A full JD is available for shortlisted candidates and brief responsibilities to include;
Commercial Leadership: Provide strategic leadership to the organisation
Contract Assessment: Evaluate signed contracts to ensure the company has the rightful claim for variations or delays, identifying opportunities for optimisation.
Commercial Management: Oversee and manage commercial aspects of contracts
Profitability Analysis: Conduct thorough profitability analysis for each project, identifying areas for cost savings and revenue enhancement.
Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop and monitor project budgets, ensuring adherence to financial guidelines and cost control measures.
Client Relations: Foster strong relationships with clients, addressing concerns, and ensuring satisfaction throughout project lifecycles.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential commercial risks associated with projects.
Tendering and Bidding Variations Tracking Claims Management: Track, manage, and finalise delay claims with the client for each project.
Final Accounts Revenue Forecasting: Collaborate with finance teams to forecast revenue accurately, contributing to the overall financial strategy.
Legal Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant contractual, legal, and regulatory requirements in the UK, NI, and ROI Collaborate with project teams to align commercial strategies with project objectives.
Financial Reporting: Provide regular financial reports and updates to senior management.
Additional Information:
Travel: Some travel may be required within the UK, NI, and ROI for site visits and meetings.
