General OperativeLocation: Invergordon, ScotlandCompany Overview: Join a reputable industrial company in Invergordon, dedicated to delivering excellence in every aspect of their operations.Position Overview: We are currently seeking a General Operative to join our clients team on a temporary basis, with the potential for a permanent role for the right candidate. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our day-to-day operations and ensuring the smooth running of our facility.Key Responsibilities:1.Assistance in Production: Assist with various tasks in the production area, including but not limited to assembly, packaging, and quality control.2.Material Handling: Operate forklifts and other machinery to move materials and products safely and efficiently (forklift experience is desirable but not essential).3.General Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance tasks to ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the production area.4.Adherence to Health and Safety: Follow all health and safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.5.Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to achieve daily production targets and deadlines.
Requirements:Availability to work Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced industrial environment.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.Forklift experience is desirable but not essential.Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.Pay Rate: £12.50 per hour
