Chef

Connect Appointments have a new opportunity with a new Livingston-based client. They're seeking a reliable and experienced Chef to join our established client. This position is temporary-to-permanent for the right candidate.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm

Pay rate: £14 per hour

Working as a Chef your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Cooking and preparing meals
• Clearing tables and cleaning counters
• Cooking a specific portion of each meal
• Replenishing vending machines
• Operating systems such as dishwashers
• Completing all relevant food safety documents

To be successful in this role you will ideally have previous experience in a hospitality/food preparation environment. Combined with:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Organisational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to quickly learn new recipes and new cooking procedures
• Time management skills
• Ability to work efficiently and cooperatively in a team environment
